An elevated walkway allows visitors an unobstructed and up-close encounter with a Bald Eagle nest, complete with a live Eagle! An amphitheater, which seats 150 people, is used for live “wildlife programs” and “flight shows.”
Chestatee Wildlife Preserve
The Preserve is located 45 minutes north of Atlanta, Georgia, in Dahlonega and sits on over 20 acres of gently rolling farmland. Over 100 animals, with many different species, live at CWP. The Preserve is a magical place to walk around or feed some of the animals.

Noah’s Ark is located on 250 acres in Locust Grove, Georgia. We provide a loving home for abused, unwanted, and orphaned animals. Noah’s Ark is not a zoo or humane society but a place dedicated to the care and treatment of wildlife, domestic livestock, exotic animals, and birds.
Second Time Around Mini Farm
Nestled in the quiet town of Washington, Georgia, lays a hideaway where visitors can see creatures native to the hills of England’s countryside and the Andes Mountains of Peru – all in one family-friendly environment. The Second Time Around Mini Farm features 13.5 acres of pastures, ponds and gardens, dotted with championship llamas, Baby Doll sheep, goats, pot-bellied pigs, donkeys, a miniature horse and much more including a bed and breakfast.
The Parks at Chehaw
