Our mission, as a multi-disciplined community arts agency, is to make available a broad range of experiences in the performing arts, visual arts, literary arts, heritage arts and general arts education for all the citizens of Milledgeville and Baldwin County regardless of their socio-economic, cultural, racial, physical or religious differences.
Annett Howell Turner Center for the Arts
The primary venue for visual art is Valdosta’s Annette Howell Turner Center for the Arts. Serving five counties, this 17,000-square-foot facility presents new exhibits every six weeks in its six main galleries. The works of local, regional, national and international works are featured. Its permanent collection includes a stellar East African art collection.
Bowen Center for the Arts
Our mission is to promote and cultivate an appreciation for the arts and the artistic spirit in Dawson County and give an opportunity to develop and encourage expression of individual creativity. Performing and visual arts events; classes offered in all areas of the fine arts; cultural history exhibits; and facility rental for meetings, receptions and small events.
Callanwolde Fine Arts Center
Thriving as a busy, non-profit community art center, Callanwolde offers classes and workshops for all ages in visual, literary and performing art. Special performances, gallery exhibitions, outreach programs, and fund-raising galas are presented throughout the year.
Cultural Arts Center of Douglasville
The mission of the Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville and Douglas County is to nurture, guide and stimulate the enjoyment of and participation in the arts among Douglas County residents and visitors.
Johns Creek Art Center
Our mission is to inspire artistic development for youth and adults that stimulates creativity. Our vision is to be a premier community arts center, providing affordable quality art education to the residents of North Fulton County and surrounding communities.
Lyndon House Arts Center
The Lyndon House Arts Center in Athens is a large visual arts complex with galleries, artist’s workshops and a children’s wing.
Middle Georgia Art Association
Located in Macon, Georgia, the Middle Georgia Art Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the visual arts. We sponsor exhibits, festivals, art classes, scholarships and education programs for our members and the community. Our gallery displays the works of our members and sponsors several exhibits of non-member artists whose work merits community support.
