Brown's Guide to Georgia

Our working dairy at Hickory Flat near Canton is open for tours and special events year ‘round, so you can experience all of the agriculture seasons – planning, planting, growing and harvesting. The River Bend Farm at Resaca is only open for tours during the maize season (fall). We are one of the only dairies in Georgia to milk the cows and put the milk in the jug right here on the farm.

Calf Barn
Everyone enjoys a visit to the Calf Barn at Hickory Flat! It’s where we keep the little calves for folks to pet and feed. It’s a memorable experience for kids of any age – and a real photo opportunity.

Cow Train
Our little Cow Trains are painted up to look just like Holstein Cagle Ladies at the farm, and it’s a big hit with the little folks. Take a ride through special Maize trails (disguised as a cow) and see what it’s like. (Seasonal)

Hayrides and Bonfires
Country hayrides have never been so much fun! Everyone pile on the haywagon and get an up-close look at the farm in shady comfort. We’ll take you out around the farm, by the veggie garden, and past Squealer Field. (Seasonal)

Jumping Pillow & Corn Cannons
We call our “pillow” the Jumpy! It’s a hoot! And the more folks who are jumping together—the merrier. The Jumpy at RiverBend Farm is World’s Largest! Corn cannons are a great way to get a little friendly rivalry going in the crowd. Team up and see who can shoot corn cobs fartherest out in the pasture or hit a target for prizes. (Seasonal)

We’ve Got Pumpkins!
In the fall, we have a great supply of pumpkins at Cagle’s Dairy Farm. It’s sure to be visited by ‘The Great Pumpkin’ on Halloween. We have pumpkins from tiny to terribly tall and all sizes in between. Wander around with the scarecrows and choose a pumpkin. (Seasonal)

Seasonal Vegetable Garden & Flower Pickin’
Papa Albert has a green thumb and it’s the pride of Cagle’s Dairy Farm. Our veggies are planted with care in the spring and harvested through the summer and fall. And we have a lovely flower garden especially chosen for pickin’ bouquets.

Kiddie Korral
Little kiddies have their own play area at the farm. We have a little pillow, hay pyramid, tot-sized trikes, little pedal tractors, and more. Moms and dads can sit in the shade and watch them play. (Seasonal)

Accessibility: Cagle’s Dairy Farms are working farms, however, we are mostly handicapped accessible. Some of our areas and venues are on unpaved farm ground. Wheel chairs, strollers and wagons can be brought on premises and are able to complete the corn maze, but the ground (like any farm) can be bumpy in spots.
