Come aboard Capt. Mike’s Dolphin Tours and watch the bottle-nosed dolphin playing in their natural habitat. These fun loving, aquatic mammals are the most intelligent of creatures next to man and are unusually friendly. They frequently come right up to the boat.
The tour departs daily from Lazaretto Creek Marina, heading toward the Atlantic ocean, passing by shrimp boats and boat docks that portray the charm of an old fishing village. The boat passes by the Cockspur lighthouse (built in 1856), offering a view of historic Fort Pulaski. Approaching the North Beach of Tybee, the tour provides a scenic view of the Tybee Lighthouse.
Captain Mike’s Dolphin Tours are renowned, and have been featured on The Discovery Channel’s “The Best Places to Kiss,” Good Morning America, Good Day Atlanta, TBS’s “Feed Your Mind,” the Today show, and in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Southern Living.

Accessible:
Due to the amount of steps down the dock at low tide and the steps up and down the boat, our vessels are not wheelchair-accessible.
Rates:
Dolphin tour rates are $15.00 for adults and $8.00 for children, 12 and under. Sunset cruises are $18.00 per adult and $11.00 per child. Children 2 and under admitted free but must be included in your party’s headcount per US Coast Guard regulations. Reservations Recommended.
Special Events:
Capt. Mike’s Dolphin Tours is proud to sponsor the 5th Annual Coastal Pet Rescue Cruise for Critters Sunday, September 7, 2008 from 2 to 5 pm. Hop aboard a three-hour, fully catered tour for adults only. All proceeds benefit Coastal Pet Rescue’s programs.
